The President was briefed on the current socio-economic situation and plans to ensure the growth of the country’s economy.
Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reported to the Head of State on measures taken to strengthen support for domestic commodity producers. In order to increase the share of Kazakhstani content, work has begun to improve procurement procedures for government agencies, subsoil users and quasi-public sector.
On the instructions of the President, special attention is given to the further development of promising industries.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was also informed about the activities of the Commission on the return of illegally acquired assets to the state.
At the end of the meeting, the Head of State gave a number of instructions on the further socio-economic development of the country.
